The place is pretty clean and quite spacious, plus the staff here are super friendly and nice. the breakfast options are decent, offering a good variety of food and drinks to choose from. 🌟

The only thing we liked about this hotel was its proximity to the beach but every hotel in sperlonga is within short walking distance of the beach.

I liked nothing about this hotel i found the staff to be extremely rude probably the worst ive ever come accross anywhere in the world with the exception of the cleaning staff who were friendly. The service was even worse we paid for bed and breakfast the only thing we could eat in the morning was cereal because everything else was disgusting and stale as it was just covered over and left on the breakfast table for days, the bar was non existent we couldnt even get a coffee and any time we did look for bar service they treated us so rudely, the rooms were out dated and damp and there was a constant smell of sewerage. At 130 euro a night we could have stayed somewhere alot more accomadating and friendlier.....stay at your peril

The lack of being received as a guest. "Check-in" at check-in. I understand that the receptionists share the same information all day. Still, you can be courteous.

Spacious room, got a great night's sleep in a comfy bed. the location was awesome, right in the middle of town. Had a cozy family vibe. 🌟 the staff was super friendly and helpful, giving us all the info we needed.

During my recent business trip to Sperlonga, my director chose the Grand Hotel La Playa as our accommodation. I must say, it was a fantastic choice. One of the highlights of this hotel is the free access to the outdoor pool, which is surrounded by lush, swaying palms and comfortable sun loungers. It was the perfect place to soak up some sun and relax after a long day of meetings. The pool is well-maintained and inviting, offering guests an enjoyable and refreshing experience. Whether you want to take a dip or simply lounge by the poolside, the Grand Hotel La Playa ensures a delightful stay.

All great but the lack of comfort of the bed and pillows ruined the stay as we woke up with the worst back and neck aches.

The best thing about this hotel is its location and the fact that it has a swimming pool and immediate access to the beach. The swimming pool, access to the beach, parking at the hotel and the breakfast are all included in the price. It is also very easy to walk from the hotel into Sperlonga.

(1) The breakfast is not impressive. The coffee and water for tea were both in unheated containers, therefore the coffee and tea were lukewarm at best. There were no cornetti upon arrival in the breakfast area and when some (maybe 12) were brought to the table, they were all gone within one minute because everyone was waiting to have a cornetto with their coffee. (2) The hours for breakfast are 8-10am. The checkout time listed in the room is 10am. Ridiculous. Breakfast should be from 7 to 10am. Checkout time should be at least 12 Noon. If you cannot get all of the rooms cleaned up by 14:00 (the earliest checkin time) then hire more maids. This hotel has a habit of cutting corners where it can and it shows in different ways.

When I am in Sperlonga, I like staying here. The hotel serves fresh bread, cakes, and eggs for breakfast. The rooms are fine and outstanding plus have essentials you need. It has nice restaurant and favourable location by the sea. Aqua&farina Pizzeria, where you can eat lunch, is within walking distance of the venue.

Grand Hotel La Playa is my go-to place in Sperlonga. The staff helped me with an insect bite on my first stay. It suits me perfectly with everything I need: free Wi-Fi, valet parking, 24-hour reception, poolside snack bar, and more. See you for Easter!

The breakfast offered here is satisfactory with plenty of affordable options, and the location is absolutely breathtaking, just a short walk away from everything.

I gotta say, we got some serious bang for our buck at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and definitely worth the price. The location was spot on, right on the beach with a fantastic pool just steps away. The staff treated us like family, always friendly and helpful.

Now, the breakfast. Don't get me wrong, it was decent, but it could use a little improvement.
